The day was celebrated with much fanfare and fascination. The little kids were encouraged to develop the habit of reading. They were also advised to enrich their vocabulary by using alternate words to the more commonly used words. They made beautiful posters with quotations related to books, book covers and beautiful book marks. The class teachers emphasized on encouraging the students to become avid readers and to constantly endeavor to enhance their vocabulary.
