World Book Day celebrations in school provide a platform for children to explore the joys of reading, expand their knowledge and develop important skills that contribute to their holistic development. The love for books encourage a love for reading, stimulates imagination and creativity, nurtures emotional intelligence & much more. The students of classes Pre School, Pre Primary & I created beautiful book marks with the support & guidance of their facilitators and wrote short captions on them reflecting their love for books.

 We believe that Earth Day celebrations provided our little wonders with valuable lessons about the importance of environmental conservation. It encouraged them to develop a sense of responsibility towards the planet and instilled in them the knowledge that their actions can make a positive impact. 

It was an engaging and educational event focused on raising awareness about the importance of protecting and caring for our planet. 

Students of Class Pre School made stick puppets of happy planet; Pre Primary students gave Flowery tribute to their Mother Earth. Class I children created Souvenir of Planet Earth.

 World Heritage Day was celebrated in school on 18th April, 2024. The aim of celebrating the day was to spread awareness about the importance of the cultural heritage & its preservation. Various programmes related to the historical structures of India were organized by the school. Special assembly was conducted on this occasion. Teachers explained to school children the meaning and importance of rich cultural heritage and advised them to preserve & conserve our legacy.

Children of Class Pre School did colouring on a worksheet in the picture of Qutbminar and visited a Temple.

Pre Primary Class students visited ISKCON Temple and were shown PPT on Heritage sites of India.
Class 1 children did picture pasting on various monuments to make placards.

 It is indeed a moment of great pride and also an occasion to commemorate the significant day of our institute. It’s been 43 years, DAVians commenced their journey and is reaching pinnacle to go beyond the ordinary. The school has been untiring in its efforts to ensure holistic development of its students and it has made a remarkable contribution to the society and the nation. The special assembly was aimed at ensuring that the school extended its warmest commendation to all those who have contributed in achieving the aims and objectives of our school.

It was a day well spent with a lot many activities. The event concluded with positive thoughts and encouragement to do good, to give our best in everything we do and to strive to always make DL DAV proud.
